Sample decision brief

This is the weekly brief delivered to a client or commercial team.

Every displayed field has a job in the decision—not in alert volume. Inspect the fact, before-and-after evidence, cautious interpretation, decision question, owner and limitation. These are synthetic demonstrations—not client results.

Two synthetic demonstrations · no client results claimed

Example 01 · agency

A signal for the next client test

Signal · offer and decision

A competitor increased its annual discount and replaced a self-serve trial with a sales conversation.

Human reviewed
Before15% annual saving · Start trial
After25% annual saving · Book a demo
Observed fact
The annual discount and primary call to action changed.
Why it may matter
Annual commitment and a sales-led journey may now receive more emphasis. Intent is unknown.
Decision question · owner: StrategistShould annual commitment enter the next test hypothesis?

Limit: a public page does not prove intent, impact or business outcome. This is a synthetic demonstration, not a client result.

How to read the brief

Every field must reduce decision uncertainty.

01

Source and time

Where and when the change was observed.

02

Before-and-after evidence

Preserved state that a reviewer can verify.

03

Fact and possible importance

Observation is separated from a cautious hypothesis.

04

Question, owner and limitation

The signal ends in a decision and states what cannot be concluded.

A real competitor example is published only after source-admissibility review.

Synthetic review demonstration

From raw change to a no-action decision.

  1. Raw change: the detector recorded a new label beside a CTA.
  2. Discarded noise: it was a rotating session label, a separate teaching demonstration—not an approved signal delivered to a client.
  3. Confirmed fact: the agreed public URL has no offer change.
  4. Hypothesis: there is no basis for a new commercial hypothesis.
  5. Owner and question: the strategist reviews only the next material alert.
  6. Outcome: no action; this is neither a measure nor evidence of causal business impact.

No action is a valid documented outcome when evidence does not change the decision.
